A pleasant stay overall; ...

A pleasant stay overall; my sensitive nose noticed no weird odors and I slept well. The room was rather dark, even as a corner room facing southwest. Great views and nice balcony. The hotel takes a whopping THREE temporary deposits. Before checking in, there is a one-day deposit (deposit equal to one night's stay), which is refunded upon check-in. Then there is a $50 deposit that is refunded upon checkout. Then there is a third deposit equal to the value of total nights stayed, and that isn't refunded until a few days later. So if you stay and the bill comes to $1000, Wyndham charges $2000 to your card temporarily. The manager explained this to me, since there was no prior warning that it would happen. I was nearly stranded in New York

Not too bad for 1st trip to NY

The hotel was a little tired. It could do with some TLC. The beds were comfy and clean . The heating wasn't working but we were given a small heater. The location is good. There are great views from rooms on higher levels and the rooftop bar which is probably the best part

Disappointed

Pictures of this hotel are Deceiving there is no rooftop access, there is no restaurant for breakfast, and the lounge 93 on upper level only open for a short period of time in evening. The lounge and restaurant do not belong to hotel. You have to book to have your room cleaned at least 24 hours in advance.Hotel,was clean and bed comfortable

The two restaurants attached ...

The two restaurants attached to the hotel are great. Service is awesome. The hotel desk attendance on the other hand can be a little rude.
