Guests are talking about Wyndham Garden Chinatown!

My overall experience was excellent but I had a terrible encounter with a security guard from an outside firm who questioned whether I was trespassing and then hurled a racist slur at me when realized I was indeed a guest. Of course, , other guest who were standing with me waiting for the elevator did not have the same experience. Beyond that, I was over satisfied.

Staff was friendly and accommodating with their rental space. We didn't do catering or overnight rooms, but the staff gave us plenty of attention and had the rooms ready for all 8 of our sessions. We met over the course of a few months and didn't have to check in or remind them of things throughout. Good location for small business meetings!

This review is for a private event hosted at the Wyndham Garden Chinatown 17th floor event space that the in-house kitchen also catered. Sean, Preston, Jessica and the rest of the F&B team were excellent to work with over the last two months as I planned a milestone birthday event. They were highly responsive and respectful of my family's unique needs. The event was extremely well-received by my family and friends, and everyone enjoyed the Italian rustic buffet! The 17F floor event space has wonderful views of Chinatown and lower Manhattan, and the terrace space is wonderful.

Tiffany at the front desk was the best! She was helpful with checking in and any questions we had during our stay. The room was very clean and the location and view were amazing! The only downside was that the a/c wasn't working, and it was in the mid 80's during our trip. It would have been nice to be informed of that, we had to ask. Our room got up to 80 degrees. The fan function of the a/c helped a bit, but only on one side of the room.
