Guests are talking about Wyndham Garden Chinatown!

We had a fantastic stay, despite some minor issues both Nina and Mali at the front desk were always incredible and happy to help. Mali also made several excellent recommendations for local eats, especially for the fact that we arrived well after midnight our first night. I also want to shout out Larry from housekeeping, very kind and helpful too.

After reading hundreds of reviews before booking for our recent trip, my husband found the Wyndham Garden Chinatown and decided to book. Staying with our son, our room had one king bed and one full so it was the perfect setup! While we did not have tons of room to move around, the room was still very well appointed and even with all of our luggage, it wasn't as bad as other hotels we have stayed at in previously in the NYC area. Yes the elevator provided some interesting challenges not wanting to go tot he 4th floor but seriously, it wasn't anything we were upset about. And the boiler went out on the last day for the entire hotel but they were very accommodating in allowing us to stay a little longer until they could get it up and running. Location for us was exceptional. Just 3 blocks or so away from Chinatown and Little Italy. Some of the best food there is to be had is within this area. Breakfast every day for us was at the Kamboat bakery. Awesome enough we repeated daily!! Nothing too heavy so we didn't feel the drag so early in the day but light enough to get moving. When we go back, we will definitely stay here again. It is too convenient not to!!!!

Nina at the front desk of Wyndham Garden Chinatown was absolutely lovely! I arrived after walking several blocks in the cold, rainy New York weather, exhausted, carrying luggage. I asked if I could check in a little earlier since I was soooo tired. Nina made some calls to see how quickly the room would be ready. I waited for maybe just 15 minutes, while Nina handled a busy lobby, but she still kept me updated about the room. She has an absolutely wonderful, sunshiny disposition, and is truly great at her job. Coming from the south, travelers don’t know what to expect from people in New York—you know there’s all those clichés. But Nina was a breath of fresh air to meet someone so nice before I began exploring your beautiful, wonderful city!

I was there for 7 nights and asked for the best room that they could do under the circumstances. They did not disappoint. I loved the view, the clean room, the responsive housekeeping and desk staff, and the location which allowed me to do everything I wanted to do in NY with safety and security assured.
