Guests are talking about Wyndham Garden Chinatown!

Got a good rate for the room in a solid area. It was convenient being walking distance to areas like Chinatown and Soho. Felt like the staff could have been friendlier. The room was nice and clean and comfortable. The shower was terrible though-- there was no door to the shower (open glass shower) and the water pressure was too high and difficult to adjust so water would get all over the bathroom while showering. The shower would also emit a high-pitch squeal when it was running. Other than that, not bad

The rooms heat ran all night and never got warm. The shower was horrible no hot water and water splashed all over the floor. There were ramen noodles stuck to the table next to the coffee maker. Then to top it off we were woken up by the smell of marijuana at 4am. We would have left except the parking deck was 2 blocks away. I will never stay here again

The staff is great, the location is fantastic, the room was clean with a great view and overall it was a very nice stay but the rooms are also a bit worn. I just can't give it four stars. The minifridge wasn't working so someone came up and had to fix it. The air conditioner dripped water into the carpet. Some of the walls had scuff marks on them. As I said, the staff was super accommodating but I think the rooms just need a bit of a refresher. I got my room on discount on priceline so maybe they also give the crappier rooms to people who purchase cheap? I would stay there again, just lower my expectations slightly.

The hotel was clean and in a decent neighborhood for what we wanted to do while in New York. We did have some issues with the room and the staff just said sorry. The TV and deadbolt didn’t work. Each day the staff just said sorry. Not, we will have someone look at it or fix it, just sorry. Finally the last day they fixed it. I would say an average stay with poor service.
