Very clean, friendly, nice ...

Very clean, friendly, nice location. Internet is extremely slow, there is no laundry, proper business room and other amenities even a simple hotel would have

A great hotel not far from the financial district.

Stayed here for a week in October for work. The location is excellent if you are in or around Wall St or like me needed to get to Jersey City. It was a 15min walk to either the Path or the ferry. My room was really nicely decorated and had great amenities. The only small is was the shower, water tended to spray over the floor which was a pain. There's a bar on the 20 something floor with great views up Manhattan. There's also a small but perfectly formed gym. I would stay here again. It was value for money

My weekend getaway!

Wyndham Garden was exactly what we needed. As we often go to the city from CT, the intimate environment, location and view this hotel provides we have found our home away from home. Clean, convenient and reasonably priced

Diamond in the Rough

ProsVery clean, either new or recently updated, modern decor, pretty quiet area, nice views of the city, on-site restaurant. Considering the size of the room they were able to fit everything I needed in it. I thought the price was super reasonable for NYC ($187 for one night with all taxes and fees). The Shinka Ramen Bar is really good! See my other review on that.ConsDidn't seem like the best part of town to be in for someone traveling solo. I didn't feel comfortable venturing out after dark. Bathroom has one whole wall of glass, which was kind of neat, except it has a thin window covering and a frosted glass bathroom door - which combined caused night lights to shine into the bedroom. I ended up hanging some clothes over the door to somewhat shade it. I like my room very dark. Room was small but seemed average for NYC. Shower doesn't have a door that closes, therefore water sprays out of it, and you get kinda cold. It's a small sink area with very little countertop.Just because my cons list is longer than my pros list does not mean I wouldn't recommend it. Everything I didn't love was pretty minor. I mostly would try to pick another area to stay in, assuming I could afford it.
