Guests are talking about Wyndham Garden Chinatown!

There was no room service, we had to call in advance to have our room cleaned. Also had to call for restock of towels and coffee. The shower in our room was very good but not so great in other rooms. The air conditioner was working fine. Most of the staff was very friendly and helpful. Ryan was awesome

The hotel and location of the hotel is pretty nice but here is why 3 stars. We arrived at 2:45 granted 15 minutes before check in and room was not ready. Okay, but they took all my info put our bags in the back and said it would be 15 to 20 minutes, so we decided to walk around China town and little Italy. We arrive back after 4 pm, we give our slip for our bags and she hands them to us ... and I say we do not have a room key. She said oh ... you don't okay. She finished hecking in the person who was there before us (mind you that person DID NOT have a reservation but was handed a key and she headed to her room. I had to give all the information I previously provided at 2:45 and then was told our room was NOT READY??? so we did not have to wait long but what the hell. Anyway room was nice and comfortable, but really needs more light quite dark. Overall location is very good and hotel is fine but seriously was not a good first impression and get some more light in the room

The hotel it self is smart and modern, the rooms are clean and nicely decorated, the reception staff were very helpful, the only problem for us was the location, and probably the time of year as it was -4 and not an ideal place to wonder around while freezing !! It has a roof top bar which although small it does offer a fantastic view of the city. The downstairs restaurant serves as you would expect sushi type menus, which I didn't mind but the wife found it hard to pick a meal as there wasn't much vegetarian choice or regular meals, breakfast meals were limited as well in our opinion. Sorry to say but not the best we've stayed at

The staff was very nice but that is all there is to recommend about this overpriced hotel. We stayed a lovely week at The Belvedere in Times Square for less than $200 per night and had a huge room that was quiet clean. The Wyndam was the exact opposite. We moved there for a single night and paid $350 and was charged an extra $30 for a 2 hour early check in (...and the room was not ready when we arrived). We asked to microwave some food as was told there was a $20 charge for a microwave. The room faced the noisy street. It had a glass bathroom door providing zero privacy. The room was incredibly noisy and small and for the price and location totally not worth it. If I had to do it again, for the money I would have stayed at the Belvedere in Times Square and simply Uber'd to Chinatown for our wedding there.
