Guests are talking about Wyndham Garden Chinatown!

I stayed at the Wyndham Garden Chinatown back in September for 5 nights and, having stayed in many hotel in the NYC area, I can safely say that this one is my absolute favourite! I had stunning views on the 8th floor of the gorgeous NYC skyline, I kept my curtains open throughout the evening just so I could wake up to that beautiful view! Seeing the Empire State building all lit up and gorgeous just before you fall asleep is just incredible and a view I will never forget. I know many people have mentioned about the bathrooms having a frosted glass panel letting light in from the room into the bathroom, and to be honest, it never bothered me. In fact, I wouldn't mind my bathroom at home looking like that! The bathroom was brand new with a wonderful shower and was light and spacious thanks to that frosted glass wall. Even the cleaning staff were lovely! I got speaking to one lovely lady when I popped back to drop off some shopping before popping back out to see a show and she was absolutely lovely and had nothing but lovely things to say about the hotel, which is always a good sign! She did say that next time I should try and get a corner room as they have even BETTER views (if there is such a thing!) so I shall keep that in mind for my..

The hotel it self is smart and modern, the rooms are clean and nicely decorated, the reception staff were very helpful, the only problem for us was the location, and probably the time of year as it was -4 and not an ideal place to wonder around while freezing !! It has a roof top bar which although small it does offer a fantastic view of the city. The downstairs restaurant serves as you would expect sushi type menus, which I didn't mind but the wife found it hard to pick a meal as there wasn't much vegetarian choice or regular meals, breakfast meals were limited as well in our opinion. Wyndham Garden was exactly what we needed. As we often go to the city from CT, the intimate environment, location and view this hotel provides we have found our home away from home. Clean, convenient and reasonably priced

Stayed here for a week in October for work. The location is excellent if you are in or around Wall St or like me needed to get to Jersey City. It was a 15min walk to either the Path or the ferry. My room was really nicely decorated and had great amenities. The only small is was the shower, water tended to spray over the floor which was a pain. There's a bar on the 20 something floor with great views up Manhattan. There's also a small but perfectly formed gym. I would stay here again. It was value for money
