I would recommend that hotel to friends traveling to NYC

The property was conveniently located in Chinatown with nearby tourist attractions, ample metered parking and plenty of food choices. Check-in took unusually long by the pleasant Front Desk Agent. For an additional $20 I choose to upgrade my room to a higher floor to avoid the noise - it's Chinatown. The room had a nice view from the floor to ceiling window and while on the small side, it was comfortable. The bathroom had a frosted glass door and wall panel which was nice. But all nice things come to an end! 1. The half bathroom enclosure caused water to spray onto the floor making it a fall hazard. 2. The ceiling outside the bathroom appeared to have had a recurring mold issue that had not been properly treated cosmetically and otherwise. 3. The lobby isn't as "grand" as it appears in the promo photos. In fact it had a weird layout in that it led into a bar/restaurant entrance. 4. Check out is at 12 noon which is better than many other hotels, but at 12 noon as I'm picking up my bag to walk out with my coat on, there was a tap on the door. As I opened the door and advised the employee I was leaving, he actually stood there for a few moments to make sure that I was. That was off putting to say the least. Overall, I enjoyed my stay but there are some things the property's management needs to address right away. I don't think I should spend $170 per night to have water on the bathroom floor, mold and mildew remnants and to be rushed out of the room precisely at checkout time

Ein kleines Hotel, was alles bietet, was man braucht. Jeden Tag wird das Zimmer gemacht, an der Rezeption sind alle sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Abends kann man zur Rooftop Bar gehen, von wo man einen super Blick über die Skyline hat. Was nicht so toll ist, die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig, schon etwas älter und die Möbel haben schon die ein oder anderen Gebrauchsspuren, aber nix wildes. Die Fenster sind nicht so dicht, wie man es aus Deutschland gewöhnt ist und der Schall gerade von der Straße in den unteren Stockwerken kommt gut rein. Aber auch dass ist zu verkraften.

Das Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Unser Zimmer war mit Ausblick auf Midtown, das war auf jeden Fall ein Highlight. Das Zimmer war für New Yorker Verhältnisse recht groß und ausreichend für zwei Personen. Im Hotel gibt es eine Bar und Restaurants. Die Lage mitten in Chinatown super. Zur nächsten Metro ist es nicht weit. Grand St. oder Canal sind um die Ecke. Zur Brooklyn Bridge kommt man zu Fuß und un die Ecke gibt es die besten asiatischen Restaurants. Ein kleiner Supermarkt ist direkt gegenüber. In der Woche ist die Ecke ruhig, am Wochenende kommen die Leute zum Feiern aber auch da haben wir keinen Lärm gehört.
